AP系列涂布器，俗稱“鳥棒“是美國Gardco歷近50年之功造就的最經(jīng)典的手動涂布產(chǎn)品，Gardco是同行中使用成套精密加工設備的涂料測試儀器商，在加工精度上的保證讓實際的實驗室涂布效果變得重復而可信。

1962年38歲的PAUL N.GARDNER先生辭去美國材料實驗協(xié)會（ASTM）公職，在弗羅里達創(chuàng)建了GARDCO公司，從此致力于涂料工業(yè)的檢測儀器和設備開發(fā)，成為美國涂料、塑膠和涂裝工業(yè)評估標準化的最有力推動者，1994年進入美國聯(lián)邦涂料工業(yè)名人堂和巴爾的摩涂裝工業(yè)名人俱樂部。
GARDCO產(chǎn)品涵蓋涂料塑膠工業(yè)原料、配方（研發(fā)）、生產(chǎn)（工藝）、成品、應用上的每一個細節(jié)，檢測項目包括色彩、光澤、膜厚、涂布、附著力、干燥性、延展性、硬度、粘度、比重、表面張力、電導度以及環(huán)境實驗、物性實驗，是無可爭議的美國行業(yè)。

For laying down wet films of materials in predetermined thicknesses. These precision wet film applicators are used in conjunction with paper charts, hiding power charts, plate glass or any other smooth flat surfaces. They are simple, accurate experimental or quality control devices that require no adjustments.

Bird Type Film Applicators are available in both Stainless Steel Corrosion Resistance, Nickel Chrome Finish or Aluminum. In addition a greater variety of film widths is available. Any Bird Applicator desired that is not listed in the table will be considered as special, and must be made to order.
